Danielle LaPorte’s Daily Truth Bombs

One of the most magical adventures in my life came when I attended a Kris Carr book launch in New York at the invitation of Marie Forleo. Gabrielle Bernstein was also a featured speaker that attracted around four hundred women from around the world and me. A few other men were there with their partners.

I chatted with Kristen Noel in line to get in, who kindly introduced me to many people at the event.

She introduced me to Danielle LaPorte and asked if I knew her since we were both from Vancouver. I did not, and that was the only time I met her in person.

I have since listened to many of her podcasts and subscribed to her mailing list. Confession, I think Danielle has one of the sexiest voices ever and her deep and honest introspections can be very inspiring.

I receive what she calls Daily Truth Bombs #truthbomb like the one at the top of this article.

Often these are exactly what I need to hear on those days.

Here are some examples:

  • Happiness is like rising bubbles . . . delightul and enevitably fleeting.
Joy is the oxygen — ever present.
  • Real discernment is an OPEN perspective — which can only come from the Heart space. It’s not a logic thing, it’s not an intellectual strategy.
Discernment is a function of seeing through the lens of Love.
  • Radiance is the alchemy of our suffering.

Dan Kennedy ~ Mindset in Sales and Marketing

Russell Brunson and ClickFunnels recently bought Magnetic Marketing (formerly GKIC) and have relaunched the newsletter.

Here is a podcast from a discussion that Dan Kennedy had with Dave Dee many years ago.

If you were to listen to one presentation by Dan Kennedy to understand the core of his philosophy and practice, this would be it.

Highlights include:

  • Dan’s relationship with attracking money.
  • That the value of information marketing is in the systems and processes around selling the content, and not the content itself.
  • His productivity that comes from careful management of time.
  • Approach to goals and planning.
  • Tracking the numbers.

Worth listening to over and over. I did not quite grasp or appreciate the significance of this when I first saw the interview years ago.
