Almost every successful person in business and life will tell you that meditation is an important part of their daily rituals.
Like many spiritual traditions, the Chakra system can be understood on many levels from symbolic, to psychological, to the energetic, to the spiritual.
The usual representation of the Chakras is with Seven Chakras in your body, each associated with a color and a set of attributes that represent your experience of the world.
The goal is to light up and balance your life.
Similar to ‘Where the Yi goes, the Chi flows.
For deep practitioners over thousands of years, there is much more to it.
I recently learned that there were more chakras than the seven.
Today I came across a 37-minute Chakra meditation by Natasha Tome that links the chakras to Archangels to bring you “confidence, hope, wisdom and love.”
Most Chakra meditations start at the base and works up through the Chakras. This one starts at the top and works down, ending with a nice integration.
Please relax and follow the visualizations at whatever level is comfortable for you.
A Journey of a Thousand Miles Starts with a Single Step
Lao Tsu
The secret sauce in personal growth and business progress is in a process much like continuous improvement.
Here it is in a nutshell:
Contemplate where you are are on your journey.
Determine the next best steps to move you forward.
Take action on that step.
Individually I encourage you to do that daily. Perhaps meditate and choose an action step in the morning or evening. Or both morning and evening.
Part of the process of working with me and my team will be to go through the practice together once a week with the Business Transformation Roadmap in mind:
Where are we at on the journey?
What are the next best steps for the coming week?
Do we need to adjust the roadmap.

One of the most magical adventures in my life came when I attended a Kris Carr book launch in New York at the invitation of Marie Forleo. Gabrielle Bernstein was also a featured speaker that attracted around four hundred women from around the world and me. A few other men were there with their partners.
I chatted with Kristen Noel in line to get in, who kindly introduced me to many people at the event.
She introduced me to Danielle LaPorte and asked if I knew her since we were both from Vancouver. I did not, and that was the only time I met her in person.
I have since listened to many of her podcasts and subscribed to her mailing list. Confession, I think Danielle has one of the sexiest voices ever and her deep and honest introspections can be very inspiring.
I receive what she calls Daily Truth Bombs #truthbomb like the one at the top of this article.
Often these are exactly what I need to hear on those days.
Here are some examples:
Happiness is like rising bubbles . . . delightul and enevitably fleeting. Joy is the oxygen — ever present.
Real discernment is an OPEN perspective — which can only come from the Heart space. It’s not a logic thing, it’s not an intellectual strategy. Discernment is a function of seeing through the lens of Love.
One of the best ways to transform your life financially is to use a successful investment and growth strategy.
I have known people who have mastered the art and science of trading, creating a daily cash machine for themselves.
I can tell you from personal experience that it is easier said than done.
This article is an approach to make it simple and safe. You can use test the approach for yourself on paper or on a spreadsheet to see if will work for you.
You can also start small trading inexpensive instruments like cryptocurrencies, options, forex, or low-price or fractional stock.
Start with a few hundred dollars and see if you can not lose any of it and have it grow a little each day.
Consistently gaining 1% a week has the potential to create financial freedom for yourself.
Here is the Steady Thirds Approach
The first advice is, to avoid overtrading. Investors in the last few years made money by simply leaving things alone.
My suggestion is to consider and make only two or three trades a day or week.
Keep 30% as Long-Term Investments
Let the investment breathe.
Sell 30% Currently in Profit
Look for items that seem to have plateaued or are trending downward.
Note: If everything is trending upward, buy more of the most promising investment rather than selling to avoid short-circuiting your profits.
Use the 30% to Buy Something Trending Up
Look for something that looks promising.
Track your results closely and aim for steady growth.
Consider adding small amounts of money to the account each week to grow your portfolio.
I had the weirdest, most audacious dream ever this morning. It was completely different from anything I had been thinking about. Like a message from the universe.
The main idea was to create a train-the-trainer or mentorship for people living on the streets.
On topics that the person wanted to learn. Not life skills or job training.
Anything the person may have aspired to learn before they ended up on the streets or living in extreme poverty.
Art ~ Urban Farming ~ Creative Writing ~ Philosophy ~ Music ~ History …
The mentors could be interested experts willing to share there insights.
They could be people like Alicia Keys talking about music to a person, or Bill Gates, or Barack Obama, or Sir Richard Branson.
The key is to meet people where they are. Some may simply be glad that someone is talking to them about something they love.
Others may have been professors and professionals before illness or misfortune brought to the place they are now.
Many people who are now thriving will tell about times when they were bankrupt, homeless, or broken.
They survived and learned to thrive, often with a hand up.
And one of the ideas is that the person would in turn mentor others.
Mentor the Mentor
The logistics are challenging
The first thought was to have a space or a mobile unit where a person could connect with a mentor.
A physical space would need a social worker and an empathetic security person to facilitate.
The actual mentoring sessions could be through Zoom on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
For that matter, anyone with any of those devices could participate. There probably are billions of unused devices stuck in drawers and landfills that could be used for this.
Celluar service providers could sponsor simple data plans.
All of the tools to support this are available online for free or near free.
Still, this could be an enormous mission involving government agencies, non-profit organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and volunteer mentors.
Do you know of projects doing something like this already?
Add comments on Social Media if that is where you saw this.
P.S.
Where this idea might have come from?
My mother had regrets that she never went to college to study Anthropology and Archeology. She read lots and was able to travel to many world locations including Machu Pichu, Greece, Egypt, China, and the Mayan ruins in Mexico. Still, she had regrets.
My father lived the last part of his life in a rooming house in the Vancouver Downtown East Side. Not quite homeless, but close. He loved photography and had a weird sense of humour.
I learned a lot from both parents.
In my travels in India and elsewhere I was aware that most of us so very far from the streets.
A mugging, accident, illness, financial misfortune, natural disaster, or pandemic can put you on the streets in a flash.
Let’s see if we can lift some out of their situation and help them help others.
